The adaptation time to fixed dentures varies from person to person. To extend the life of your dentures, please follow the recommendations of your dentist:

- To maintain good oral hygiene, use additional dental floss and brushes, as well as an irrigator. To choose additional methods and hygiene products, consult your doctor.
- If permanent dentures are fixed with temporary cement, it is not recommended to chew gum or sticky foods.
- To avoid breakage and chipping of the denture facing material, it is not recommended to chew or bite off very hard and tough foods (for example: crackers, apples).
Dear patient!

In order for the period of adaptation to removable dentures to proceed as comfortably as possible, it is necessary to follow the doctor’s recommendations:
- You need to learn how to remove and put on the prosthesis yourself.
- Before applying the prosthesis, you need to moisten it in water and rinse your mouth.
- At first (1.5-2 weeks) it is necessary to use the prosthesis constantly, even at night. You can sleep with removable prostheses and take them out only for hygiene.
- For better adaptation, it is recommended to read aloud for 20-30 minutes daily during the first 2 weeks.
- Visit your doctor for an examination as prescribed or as needed.
- Every day, removable dentures must be cleaned with a toothbrush (with hard bristles) and toothpaste twice a day (morning and evening), rinsed with water after meals.
- Dentures outside the oral cavity must be stored in a moist environment (wrapped in a damp cloth or placed in a container with water). You should consult with your doctor regarding the choice of hygiene methods and means, storage conditions for the denture.
- To avoid breaking the denture, it is not recommended to eat very hard food (crackers, nuts) and bite off food with the front teeth. Cut hard, fibrous food into small pieces. You should chew food with the left and right side teeth.
- If you feel pain or discomfort under the prosthesis, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. Before the appointment, you should wear the prosthesis for several hours (2-3) so that the doctor can see the place where the prosthesis causes pain.
- If the fixation of the prosthesis is insufficient or deteriorates (long-term use for 2 years or more), you should consult a doctor.
- Under no circumstances should you make any corrections, repairs or other impacts on the prosthesis yourself.
