The Turetsky Choir performed at City Hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov.

The artists prepared a special program for the hospital's patients and staff, which included familiar compositions.

A concert by the world-renowned Turetsky Choir was held at City Clinical Hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov. The event was part of the development of the healing environment concept. This project is being implemented by the Moscow Department of Health and Department of Culture. She told about this. Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

"Moscow was one of the first cities to systematically implement the principles of a healing environment in the development of urban healthcare. In recent years, Moscow's hospitals have undergone a dramatic transformation: comfortable waiting areas, landscaped grounds, modern navigation, and new architectural and design solutions have emerged. Today, we're infusing this environment with cultural life: concerts and performances come to hospitals to provide patients with emotional support and help them adapt more easily to treatment. The project has already expanded to include both children's and adult hospitals across various specialties: the Kommunarka Moscow Medical and Clinical Center, the Morozov Children's Hospital, the S.S. Yudin Hospital, the A.S. Loginov Clinical Research Center, and other hospitals. For example, the N.F. Filatov Hospital hosted a concert by the world-renowned Turetsky Choir. I'm confident that such care for people is an integral part of modern medicine, where treatment goes hand in hand with the creation of an atmosphere conducive to recovery," said Anastasia Rakova.

The Moscow Department of Culture develops a program of cultural events for Moscow hospitals. On June 16, the Russian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra performed at the Kommunarka Moscow Regional Clinical Center. The Lenkom Mark Zakharov Theater performed for patients and doctors at the I.V. Davydovsky City Clinical Hospital.

"In the coming weeks, Moscow's leading cultural institutions and private theaters will continue their programs: hospitals will host performances by the Moscow Theater Center 'Cherry Orchard,' the Moscow Puppet Theater, and the Storytelling Theater. Furthermore, Moscow museums will open exhibitions directly in hospitals, and creative workshops will be organized for young patients," noted the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture. Alexey Fursin.

On July 20, the Turetsky Choir, a group whose vocal abilities have been called a modern phenomenon, performed at City Clinical Hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov. The soloists have a range of up to 4.5 octaves, and their repertoire encompasses world classical music, opera, jazz, folk, and popular works. The performers prepared a special program for the hospital's patients and staff, including such compositions as "Russians Have Everything Over the Edge," "Lark," "A Star Named Sun," "People in White Coats," "Where the Motherland Begins," "We Wish You Happiness," "Long Road," "Cossacks in Berlin," "Dark Night," "At Dawn," "I Love Life," "Bella, Ciao," "Where the Maple Rustles," "A Dream Come True," "Nightingale," and "Everything is Fine, Beautiful Marquise."

"Art heals both physically and psychologically—it's been tested and proven. People often come to our concerts after work, tired, seeking a boost of energy and spiritual respite. And from the stage, we see how their eyes change as the music plays, how they become fully engaged, how they finally begin to smile and let go of all negativity. The audience experiences a sense of wonder, draws strength, and their heart rate and blood pressure return to normal," shared People's Artist of Russia Mikhail Turetsky.

According to him, the hospital concert was a sign of gratitude for the selfless work and heroism of doctors and other healthcare workers. Mikhail Turetsky also noted that the choir is delighted to welcome the Moscow Government's initiative and is happy to provide a boost of positive energy to both doctors and patients.

As part of the development of the healing environment concept, cultural events have already been held at several Moscow hospitals. Participants in the program include the Kommunarka Moscow Medical and Clinical Center, the Morozov Children's City Clinical Hospital, the S.S. Yudin City Clinical Hospital, the A.S. Loginov Moscow Clinical Research Center, and other hospitals. On July 7, young patients at the Morozov Hospital enjoyed an interactive performance of "Robinson's Diary." On July 15, the A.S. Loginov Moscow Clinical Research Center hosted a concert titled "Health Like Clockwork!" featuring artists from the Mosconcert group.

On July 16, the S.S. Yudin City Clinical Hospital presented the storytelling play "Children of the Iron Bird," an inspiring production about science and the first human spaceflight. On July 21, the Kommunarka Moscow International Cultural Center will host a concert by Mosconcert artists. On July 23, tenor Ilya Khardikov will perform at the S.S. Yudin City Clinical Hospital with a program of Russian and international works.

Throughout the summer and into the first month of autumn, patients and doctors at Moscow hospitals can enjoy not only musical concerts and performances but also various museum exhibitions. Such events are becoming part of modern Moscow healthcare, where patient care combines not only high-tech assistance but also the creation of a nurturing, calm atmosphere that promotes a speedy recovery.
