Sobyanin: A network of specialized endoscopic centers operates in Moscow

Over the course of five years, more than 700,000 patients were examined in specialized centers in the capital.

In 2021, the first specialized endoscopic center opened in the capital - based Moscow Multidisciplinary Scientific and Clinical Center named after S.P. BotkinToday, such centers also operate in City Clinical Hospital (CCH) named after V.M. Buyanov, the Kommunarka Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center, the A.S. Loginov Moscow Clinical Research Center, and the S.S. Yudin City Clinical Hospital. Over five years, they have examined more than 700,000 patients. This was reported on their channel in messenger "Max" Sergei Sobyanin reported.

"Doctors have access to modern, expert-grade equipment, including 12 video endoscopic systems and over 80 pieces of medical equipment. Patients are supported throughout the entire procedure: they are reminded in advance of required examinations and receive detailed preparation instructions. An integrated approach "This allows us to obtain the most reliable results and detect diseases at the earliest stages. The examinations are performed under mild sedation, making the procedures comfortable for patients, and the entire visit to the center takes no more than two hours," wrote Sergei Sobyanin.

"Last year, we launched a project for proactive endoscopic examinations for the early detection of gastrointestinal diseases and pathologies that predate cancer. Muscovites who haven't had a gastroscopy or colonoscopy for several years are now eligible for these screenings. Over 300,000 people have already undergone these screenings," Sergei Sobyanin said.
