The interior design was themed around the four elements. A large entrance area was created for the comfort of young patients, and art installations were placed near the building.

The complex's creation was one of the largest healthcare projects under Moscow's Targeted Investment Program and a key milestone in the modernization of the capital's entire pediatric healthcare system. It combined the most advanced capabilities for providing emergency, specialized, and high-tech care to children.

The complex includes:

— a unique center for gravitational blood surgery and hemodialysis, where newborns can also receive renal replacement therapy;

— modern medical equipment, including MRI and CT machines, X-ray diagnostic systems and an angiograph;

- a helipad on the roof for receiving emergency patients.

In addition, a maximally comfortable environment is provided, created based on the principle of a healing environment. This helps children cope with treatment more easily, and parents can be nearby at all times.

"During the first year of the new complex's operation, more than 75,000 children received medical care, 49,000 of whom were admitted as emergency cases. About 11,000 were from other regions of Russia," added Sergei Sobyanin.
